- Begin by microwaving one cup of milk in a microwave-safe container for about one minute, until it's steaming but not boiling.
- In a slow cooker, pour in the remaining milk along with the heavy cream. Set your slow cooker to low heat.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the unsweetened cocoa powder, sugar, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
- Carefully pour the cocoa mixture from your bowl into the slow cooker with the milk and cream. Stir gently yet thoroughly.
- Cover your slow cooker with a lid and set it to cook on low for about 4 hours or on high for 3 hours.
- Once your Witch’s Brew Purple Hot Chocolate is cooked, stir in the purple gel food coloring.
