  • 1 lb Tenderised Chicken Can use boneless thighs without tenderising
For the Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Cornflour (Cornstarch) Use more if a thicker sauce is desired

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Tenderise Chicken: Sprinkle chicken with baking soda and let it rest for 20 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
  2. Prepare Broccoli: Boil water or use a steamer to pre-cook broccoli for 3-5 minutes until bright green and tender. Drain and set aside.
  3. Mix Sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine cornflour with soy sauce, then gradually add wine, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and water, mixing until smooth.
  4. Stir Fry Aromatics: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add oil, then sauté chopped garlic and onion for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Cook Chicken: Add tenderised chicken to the skillet, cooking for 2-3 minutes until golden and fully cooked.
  6. Combine: Stir in pre-cooked broccoli and sauce mix, add a splash of water, and cook until sauce thickens and coats the stir-fry.
  7. Serve: Remove from heat and serve over rice or cauliflower rice, garnishing with sesame seeds if desired.
