Preparation Steps

  3. In a cocktail shaker, add the strawberry-basil purée, tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, and simple syrup. Fill with ice and shake for 15-20 seconds.
  4. Remove chilled glasses from the fridge, fill with fresh ice, and strain the mixture into each glass. Garnish with basil or a slice of strawberry.
  5. For a frozen version, blend the strawberry-basil mixture with a cup of ice until slushy.
