Step-by-Step Instructions for Halloween Graveyard Kit Kat Cake
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare the devil's food cake mix according to package instructions. Pour batter into a lined 8" round cake pan. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
- Once the cake is cooled, frost with a generous layer of orange frosting on the sides. Spread green frosting evenly on the top.
- Break Kit Kat® Bars into pieces. Arrange them around the cake’s perimeter, standing them upright.
- Chill the cake in the refrigerator for about 1 hour to set the frosting.
- Use Reese's Nutrageous Bars to create pathways and line them with Reese's Pieces. Position Hershey's Cookie 'n' Creme bars as tombstones.
- Return the decorated cake to the refrigerator for a final chill until serving.
