Method

Preparing Halloween Cakesicles
  1. Begin by melting your chosen chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  2. Coat the insides of silicone molds with the melted chocolate, ensuring an even layer, and refrigerate for about 10 minutes to set.
  3. Crumble the cake into fine bits and mix with frosting until you achieve a dough-like consistency.
  4. Fill the cooled molds tightly with the cake mixture, insert popsicle sticks, and pour melted chocolate over the top to seal.
  5. Chill the molds for about 30 minutes until the chocolate sets and the cakesicle firms up.
  6. Decorate each set cakesicle with melted chocolate, candy eyes, and sprinkles as desired.
  7. Let decorated cakesicles sit for a few minutes to dry before gently peeling them from the molds and arranging on a platter.
