  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, and smoky bourbon BBQ sauce until just blended.
  3. Shape the meat mixture into golf-ball sized balls, wrap each with a slice of thick-cut bacon, and place in the muffin tin.
  4. Bake the cupcakes in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes until the bacon is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  5. Prepare mashed potatoes by boiling peeled and diced Russet potatoes until fork-tender, then mash with butter and cream.
