  1. Clean the mussels under cold running water and discard any that remain closed. Peel and devein the shrimp.

  4. Add the cleaned mussels, cover, and cook for 5-7 minutes or until the mussels open.
  5. Fold in shrimp, cooking for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque.
  6. Reduce heat to low, stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, and zest, simmering for 2 minutes.
