Ingredients
  

For the Filling
  • 1 lb Fresh Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup Lump Crab Meat Fresh is best, canned can work
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Substitute with Monterey Jack if desired
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Mascarpone can be used for extra richness
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise Greek yogurt is a healthy substitute
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard Yellow mustard can be used as an alternative
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning Homemade blend can be made
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Fresh garlic can be used
  • to taste Black Pepper
For the Biscuits
  • 1 can Refrigerated Biscuit Dough Homemade dough is a great option
  • 2 tbsp Butter For brushing
For Garnish
  • to taste Fresh Parsley Optional but recommended

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather your mixing bowl and all ingredients for the filling.
  2. Combine the peeled shrimp, lump crab meat, shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Open your refrigerated biscuit dough and gently separate each biscuit. Place them on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Flatten each biscuit to about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Spoon a generous amount of the shrimp and crab mixture into the center of each flattened biscuit.
  6. Fold the edges of each biscuit over the filling, carefully pinching the seams to seal them tightly.
  7. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the sealed biscuits on it, spaced apart.
  8. Melt some butter and brush the tops of each biscuit with it.
  9. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let them cool slightly for about 5 minutes. Garnish each melt with fresh parsley and serve warm.
