For the Sauce
  • 1 cup Umami-rich sauce hoisin or chili garlic optional
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil for richness

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Marinate the pork by slicing it into thin strips and placing it in a mixing bowl with marinade ingredients. Let sit for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Cook the thick, chewy noodles in boiling salted water for about 8-10 minutes until al dente, drain, rinse and set aside.
  3. In a large pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add marinated pork and sear until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add chopped cabbage, sliced mushrooms, and minced green onions, stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until tender.
  5. Add cooked noodles, pour sauce over everything, and stir-fry together for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions.
