Olives
  • 2 cups Mediterranean Olive Mix Pitted or unpitted
  • 4 cloves Garlic Smashed
  • 2 sprigs Fresh Rosemary Can use dried if fresh is unavailable
  • 2 sprigs Fresh Thyme Can substitute with dried thyme
Spices
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cracked Red Pepper Flakes Adjust to spice preference
  • 1 teaspoon Black Peppercorns

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Prepare the Orange by peeling and juicing it, reserving the juice for the marinade.
  2. Layer the Mediterranean olive mix, smashed garlic, orange peel, rosemary, thyme, red pepper flakes, and black peppercorns in a mason jar.
  3. Combine the orange juice and olive oil, pouring it over the layered ingredients in the jar.
  4. Seal the jar tightly and shake it vigorously for about 30 seconds.
  5. Let the marinated olives sit at room temperature for 2 hours before serving.
