  • 1/3 cup Ketchup Can swap for BBQ sauce
For Binding
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs Can substitute with regular breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup Milk Can use non-dairy milk
  • 2 large Eggs Beaten

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) and prepare a baking pan with foil and oil.
  2. In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat and sauté chopped onions until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and chopped mushrooms to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper, and cook for another 5-10 minutes.
  4. Transfer the vegetable mixture to a bowl, stir in Worcestershire sauce and 3 tablespoons of ketchup, and cool for 10 minutes.
  5. Soak panko breadcrumbs in milk for about 5 minutes.
  6. In the bowl with the cooled vegetable mixture, add soaked breadcrumbs, beaten eggs, and ground turkey; mix gently.
  7. Shape the turkey mixture into an oval loaf on the baking sheet and spread remaining ketchup on top.
  8. Bake for approximately 50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 170°F (77°C); let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
