For the Pasta
  • 12 oz Pasta Dried or fresh, cook according to instructions

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare confit garlic by peeling cloves and submerging in olive oil. Bake at 300°F for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  2. Make garlic butter by blending confit garlic with room temperature butter until smooth. Refrigerate briefly.
  3. Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions, reserving half a cup of pasta water before draining.
  4. Create sauce by melting garlic butter in a skillet, adding black pepper and reserved pasta water, stirring to emulsify.
  5. Combine pasta with the garlic butter sauce, tossing well to coat. Stir gently to meld flavors before serving.
  6. Serve pasta topped with Parmesan cheese and additional toppings as desired.
