Cooking Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat. Once bubbly and fragrant, add 2 tablespoons of minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until golden.
- Add 1 pound of ground beef or beef strips. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned, stirring frequently. Drain excess fat, leaving just enough for flavor.
- Stir in ¼ cup of honey, ½ cup of BBQ sauce, 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika, and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef.
- In a small bowl, whisk together ¼ cup of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of honey, 2 tablespoons of BBQ sauce, and a dash of smoked paprika until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
- Warm tortillas in a skillet for about 30 seconds on each side or microwave for 15-20 seconds.
- Spoon a generous portion of beef mixture onto each tortilla, drizzle with taco sauce, and top with shredded cheddar cheese and fresh cilantro.
- Fold tortillas carefully and serve hot.
