Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, blend together mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and optional spinach. Set aside.
  4. Lay a sheet of parchment paper and flatten the meat mixture into a rectangle, about 1 inch thick.
  5. Spread the cheesy filling evenly over the meat rectangle, leaving a half-inch border. Roll tightly from one edge.
  6. Transfer the rolled meatloaf seam-side down onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  8. Remove from oven, ladle marinara sauce over the top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
