Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a frying pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté diced onion for 4-5 minutes until translucent. Add garlic powder, crushed red pepper, and sea salt; cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add ground sausage, breaking it apart. Cook for 6-8 minutes until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  4. Mix in freshly minced parsley with the cooked sausage. Allow mixture to cool slightly.
  5. Roll out puff pastry and cut into 6 equal squares. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Fill each pastry square with sausage mixture and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.
  7. Seal each pie by folding corners and pinching tightly. Use a fork to crimp edges.
  8. Brush tops with milk. Bake for 20-23 minutes until golden brown.
