  • 1 large Egg For egg wash.
For the Spider
  • 1 oz Grated Parmesan Substitute with Pecorino Romano if desired.
  • 1 large Pitted Black Olive Spider's head.
For Dipping
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce Homemade or store-bought.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out pizza dough to ¼ inch thick and cut into ½ inch strips for spider legs.
  2. Form a round ball from a larger piece of dough for the spider’s body, twist dough strips into legs and press into the body.
  3. In a bowl, beat the egg and apply it generously over the spider using a pastry brush.
  4. Sprinkle grated Parmesan onto the spider’s legs and body for extra flavor.
  5. Bake on a lined baking sheet for 20-25 minutes until legs are crispy and body is golden brown.
  6. Let cool, arrange on a platter and serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
