  • 1 pound Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch for marinating
For the Vegetables
  • 4 cups Fresh Broccoli Florets
  • 3 cloves Minced Garlic fresh is best
  • 1 tablespoon Minced Ginger fresh preferred
For the Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce gluten-free option: tamari
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce
For Cooking
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil or sesame oil
  • to taste Salt and Pepper for seasoning

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a bowl, combine sliced boneless, skinless chicken breast with soy sauce and cornstarch. Marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add fresh broccoli florets and stir for 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Cook the marinated chicken for 5-7 minutes without stirring.
  5. Return the cooked broccoli to the skillet, pour in the oyster sauce, and stir to coat. Cook for an additional minute and serve hot.
