Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 3/4 cup of granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and a pinch of salt in a large bowl.
  3. Add 1 cup of chilled, unsalted butter cut into small pieces and mix until it resembles coarse sand.

  5. Press half of the dough into the bottom of the greased baking dish.
