- In a medium bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup of rum and 1/2 cup of cold water until fully combined.
- In another bowl, pour 1 cup of boiling water over 1 package of strawberry gelatin. Stir until fully dissolved.
- Once the gelatin mixture has cooled slightly, pour it into the bowl with the rum and cold water mix. Stir thoroughly.
- Use a ladle to pour the jello mixture into jello shot cups, filling each about three-quarters full.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight until fully set.
- Insert a candy knife into each jello shot for decoration.
