- Begin by patting your boneless pork shoulder dry with paper towels. Rub it generously with a blend of salt, chili powder, ground cumin, dried oregano, and black pepper.
- Place the seasoned pork into the slow cooker. Sprinkle the chopped yellow onion and minced garlic over the top.
- Pour the orange juice and lime juice over the pork and aromatics in the slow cooker, distributing evenly.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on Low for 8 hours or High for 6 hours.
- Once cooking time is complete, remove the pork and shred it using two forks, mixing in some drippings for moisture.
- Preheat the oven’s broiler. Spread shredded pork on a lined baking sheet and broil for about 4 minutes until crispy.
