- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Gather ingredients and equipment.
- In a stand mixer, cream together the softened butter, white sugar, and baking powder until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the all-purpose flour on low speed until just combined.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place on a lined baking sheet. Create a ½ inch indentation in each ball.
