Ingredients
  

For the Pasta
  • 8 ounces Fettuccine or penne Any sturdy pasta
For the Meat Sauce
  • 1 pound Ground beef Or ground turkey for a leaner option
  • 6 slices Bacon Chopped and cooked until crispy
  • 1 small Onion Finely chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
For the Creamy Sauce
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese Grated
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese Shredded
  • 1 cup Beef broth Or chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato paste
For Seasoning & Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish
  • to taste Red pepper flakes Optional

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and drizzle with olive oil.
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Remove to a paper towel-lined plate.
  3. Sauté the onion in the remaining bacon fat until soft, about 3-4 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  4. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart and cooking until brown, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  5. Stir in tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce, cooking for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Pour in beef broth and simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Stir in heavy cream and then gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese.
  8. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  9. Season with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
  10. Combine cooked pasta and bacon with the sauce, warming on low for 1-2 minutes.
  11. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
