- Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and drizzle with olive oil.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Remove to a paper towel-lined plate.
- Sauté the onion in the remaining bacon fat until soft, about 3-4 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add the ground beef, breaking it apart and cooking until brown, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce, cooking for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in beef broth and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and then gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese.
- Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
- Season with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
- Combine cooked pasta and bacon with the sauce, warming on low for 1-2 minutes.
- Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
