Step-by-Step Instructions for Buttery Spinach Puffs
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and spray 9 muffin cups with cooking spray.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, soften the cream cheese in the microwave for about 30 seconds.
  3. Combine the softened cream cheese with egg, olive oil, and dried dill until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix fresh spinach, crumbled feta, and crispy bacon bits until evenly combined.
  5. Pour in the cream cheese mixture and season with salt and pepper to taste; mix well.
  6. Roll out the puff pastry slightly and cut into 9 equal squares.
  7. Line each muffin cup with a square of pastry, stretching the corners to fit.
  8. Fill each pastry cup with the spinach mixture and gather the points at the top.
  9. Brush the tops of each pastry pouch with melted butter.
