- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread evenly.
- On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer shredded cheddar cheese, ground beef, beef bacon, apple slices, and drizzle with hot honey.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side facing outwards, and press down gently.
- Grill for 4-5 minutes on one side until golden brown and cheese begins to melt.
- Flip the sandwich and grill the other side for another 4-5 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is caramelized.
- Remove from skillet, let sit for a minute, then cut in half and serve immediately.
