Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter until it starts to foam. Add the shrimp, seasoning lightly with salt and pepper, and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  2. Add minced garlic and continue cooking for another minute until fragrant. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of heavy cream with 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese and ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese. Whisk until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Gently fold the sautéed shrimp into the creamy sauce until each piece is coated.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the mixture into a greased 8x8-inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Sprinkle additional mozzarella and panko crumbs on top.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly. Watch for a beautifully crisp crust.
  7. Once baked, let it cool for a few minutes and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
