Preparation Steps
- In a medium bowl, combine 1/2 cup of sugar and 2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon, stirring well until evenly mixed. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat 2 packages (8 oz each) of softened cream cheese with 1/2 cup of sugar, 1 egg, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9x13 inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Unroll one can of Pillsbury Crescent Dinner Rolls and press the seams together to form a single sheet. Place it into the prepared pan.
- Spread the cream cheese filling evenly over the dough base.
- Unroll the second can of dough and place it over the cream cheese filling, pressing down the edges to seal.
- Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture generously over the top and bake for approximately 30 minutes.
- Allow the Churro Cheesecake Bars to cool for about 15 minutes before slicing into bars.
