Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise and Dijon mustard, stirring until thoroughly blended.
  2. Spread a thin layer of the mayo mixture on each slice of sandwich bread.
  3. Layer half of the bread slices with ham and sliced cheese.
  4. Top with remaining bread slices, mayo side down, and trim off the crusts.
  5. Cut each sandwich in half and shape into coffin shapes.
  6. Create small crosses from the remaining cheese and place them on top of each coffin sandwich.
  7. Chill the assembled sandwiches in the refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes before serving.
