Ingredients
  

For the Salmon
  • 2 fillets Salmon Skinless, boneless fillets preferred.
  • 1/2 cup Plain Flour Or gluten-free flour.
For the Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Adjust according to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt Adjust based on dietary preference.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Freshly ground preferred.
For Cooking
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Or avocado oil.
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter For cooking.
For the Sauce
  • 3 cloves Fresh Garlic Finely diced.
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Stock Or chicken stock.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley For garnish.
  • 1 piece Lemon Cut into wedges.

Method
 

Garnish
  1. Prepare the coating by mixing plain flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a shallow dish. Coat each salmon fillet thoroughly and set aside.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Fry the salmon fillets for about 3 minutes until golden.
  3. Flip the salmon and add unsalted butter. Fry for another 2 minutes while basting the salmon with the melting butter.
  4. Remove salmon from the pan. Lower the heat and sauté minced fresh garlic in the remaining butter for about 30-60 seconds.
  5. Pour in vegetable stock, scraping fond from the pan. Simmer for 1-2 minutes and whisk in remaining butter until melted.
  6. Return the salmon to the pan, baste with sauce, and serve immediately with parsley and lemon wedges.
