  • 8 ounces pasta Short varieties like fusilli or penne are recommended.
  • 1 pound fresh asparagus Trimmed and blanched.
  • 1 cup peas Fresh or frozen, blanched.
For the Vinaigrette
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice Adjust to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill Chopped.
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, dill, salt, and pepper until emulsified, about 1–2 minutes.
  3. Blanch asparagus in boiling water for 2–3 minutes until bright green. Transfer to ice water to stop cooking.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, asparagus, and peas. Pour vinaigrette over the salad and toss gently.
  5. Let the salad rest for at least 10 minutes to enhance flavor infusion.
  6. Garnish and serve chilled or at room temperature.
