Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a small bowl, combine warmed whole milk, active dry yeast, and sugar. Let sit for about 10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a stand mixer, combine eggs, melted butter, and yeast mixture. Gradually add flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Mix and knead until smooth.
  3. Transfer dough to a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  4. In a saucepan, combine fresh strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Simmer, mash, and thicken with cornstarch slurry. Let cool.
  5. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle. Spread cooled strawberry jam evenly across.
  6. Cut the dough into 12 strips and roll each tightly. Place in a greased baking pan and let rise again for 30-45 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Prepare icing by mixing cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, lemon zest, and milk until smooth.
  9. Drizzle icing over warm rolls once cooled slightly.
