  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice substitute with lime juice if preferred
  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust based on taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper adjust based on taste
For the Chicken
  • 1 pound Chicken (thighs or breasts) use thighs for juiciness or breasts for a leaner option
For the Garlic Sauce
  • 1 cup Mayo can substitute with Greek yogurt for a lighter version

Method
 

Marinade and Cook
  1. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, cumin, paprika, turmeric, coriander, cinnamon, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and coat chicken pieces. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to marinate.
  2. Preheat your grill or non-stick pan over medium-high heat, adding a splash of olive oil to prevent sticking.
  3. Add the marinated chicken to the hot pan or grill. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together mayo, minced garlic, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Adjust the flavors to your liking.
  5. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes after cooking. Slice into strips, serve in warm pita bread or on a plate with garlic sauce, and add fresh vegetables.
