Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare the cake pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine sliced peaches with additional sugar and set aside.

  4. Cut the cold butter into small pieces and mix into the dry ingredients until crumbly.
  5. Add the egg to the mixture and mix gently until just combined.
  6. Press half of the crumb mixture into the cake pan, layer the peaches, then sprinkle the remaining crumb on top.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
