  5. Beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth, then mix in sour cream and vanilla extract.
  6. Fold in whipped topping until fully incorporated, then spread over cooled brownies.
  7. Process vanilla sandwich cookies in a food processor and mix with strawberry syrup to form the topping.
  8. Sprinkle the cookie mixture over the frosting, pressing down gently to adhere.
