- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and position the oven rack in the center.
- Melt about 1/2 cup of unsalted butter in a medium-sized baking dish for around 5 minutes. Let cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 cup of granulated sugar, and 1 cup of milk. Whisk gently until just combined.
- Pour the prepared batter over the melted butter in the baking dish, then slice and arrange the bananas over the batter.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes until the edges are golden brown and a bubble of banana filling appears in the center.
