For the Chocolate Coating
  • 1 cup Light Cocoa Candy Melts Creates a rich chocolate coating.
  • 1 cup Bright White Candy Melts Perfect for the drizzly 'bandages' effect.
For Festive Decoration
  • 1 cup Orange Candy Melts Adds a pop of Halloween color.
  • 24 pieces Candy Eyeballs Brings your mummies to life with character.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare Twinkies by carefully removing them from their packaging and inserting paper straws.
  2. Chill the prepared Twinkies in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
  3. Melt the light cocoa candy melts in the microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  4. Coat each chilled Twinkie completely in the melted cocoa candy melts and place on a wire rack.
  5. Add two candy eyeballs to each coated Twinkie before the chocolate hardens.
  6. Melt the bright white candy melts and drizzle over the Twinkies to mimic mummy wraps.
  7. Allow the chocolate to harden completely before serving.
