  • 200 grams Cooked Vermicelli Noodles or rice noodles if desired
  • 1 cup Shredded Carrots or zucchini as an alternative
  • 1 cup Finely Chopped Cabbage or kale for added nutrition
  • 200 grams Firm Tofu or Cooked Shrimp for a vegan or pescatarian option
  • 2 stalks Green Onions or scallions as a substitute
  • 1 teaspoon Grated Ginger fresh is best
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic preferably fresh
For the Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • 1 tablespoon Shaoxing Wine or Rice Vinegar or apple cider vinegar as a substitute
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil substitute with any neutral oil if necessary
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar optional

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Soak a rice paper sheet in warm water for approximately 10–15 seconds until pliable and translucent. Lay it flat on a damp surface.
  2. In the center of the softened rice paper sheet, add cooked vermicelli noodles, shredded carrots, finely chopped cabbage, and your preferred protein.
  3. Fold in the sides of the rice paper and roll from the bottom upwards tightly like a burrito.
  4. Brush or spray each roll with oil to ensure maximum crispiness during air frying.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 2–3 minutes.
  6. Place the rolls seam-side down in the air fryer basket and air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Remove the rolls from the basket and serve immediately with your dipping sauce.
