Cake Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare the cake pans.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine the wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until fully combined.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Cool the cakes in the pans for 15 minutes then transfer to a wire rack.
- Prepare the frosting by beating the dairy-free butter with powdered sugar until creamy.
- Level the tops of the cooled cakes and frost between layers and on the outside.
