Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until creamy and smooth, about 2-3 minutes. Cover and refrigerate while preparing dough.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each, followed by vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients, mixing on low until just combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.
