- Spray the inside of your crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
- Place half of the frozen pierogi at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Layer half of the sliced kielbasa and half of the chopped onion over the pierogi.
- In a separate bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and melted butter.
- Spread half of the creamy sauce mixture over the layered ingredients.
- Repeat with the remaining pierogi, kielbasa, onion, and the rest of the creamy sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top during the last 30 minutes.
- Serve warm, garnished with chives.
