Ingredients
  

For the Patties
  • 1 can Chickpeas drained and mashed
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt to taste
  • 3 tablespoons Green Onions finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 large Egg or flax egg for vegan option
  • 2-3 tablespoons Grapeseed Oil for frying
For the Yogurt Sauce
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt or sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Dill chopped

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Drain and pat dry a can of chickpeas. Mash them in a bowl until chunky.
  2. Mix in ground cumin, black pepper, sea salt, green onions, garlic, flour, and the egg. Stir to combine.
  3. Heat grapeseed oil in a skillet. Shape the mixture into patties and fry for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden.
  4. For the yogurt sauce, mix Greek yogurt, lemon juice, dill, and a pinch of sea salt until smooth.
  5. Serve the patties warm with yogurt sauce on the side, in a pita, or with salad.

Notes
