Preparation Steps
- Start by slicing the boneless chicken breasts horizontally and gently flatten them to about ½ inch thick using a meat mallet. Season with salt and black pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear each side of the chicken pieces for about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Do not let it burn.
- Pour in dry white wine to deglaze the pan, scraping up browned bits. Allow to simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Add chicken stock and soy sauce, stirring gently. Combine heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over each piece and cover. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in lemon juice just before serving. Plate with sauce over chicken.
