Step-by-Step Instructions for Crispy Baked Tofu
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Press and cube the tofu, then mix the tamari, maple syrup, and sesame oil in a bowl. Toss in the tofu and marinate for 5 minutes.
  3. Prepare your baking sheet by spraying with cooking spray or lining with parchment paper.
  4. Coat the marinated tofu in cornstarch using a zippered plastic bag. Shake until coated.
  5. Arrange the coated tofu in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes, then flip each piece and bake for another 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and serve hot, either alone or with a dipping sauce.
