Steps to Prepare
- Step 1: Melt Chocolate - Chop white chocolate and melt in a heatproof bowl over simmering water for 5-7 minutes, stirring gently.
- Step 2: Prepare Mixture - In a separate bowl, combine softened cream cheese, orange zest, orange extract, vanilla extract, powdered sugar, and salt. Blend until smooth.
- Step 3: Combine - Gradually add melted white chocolate to the cream cheese mixture and gently fold until blended.
- Step 4: Chill - Transfer mixture to a container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
- Step 5: Shape Truffles - Roll the chilled mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Step 6: Decorate - Dip in melted white chocolate or roll in orange sanding sugar for garnish.
- Step 7: Set Again - Chill decorated truffles for 30 minutes to allow the coating to set.
