  3. In a separate bowl, sift matcha powder, then add hot water and whisk until smooth and frothy.
  4. Pour the matcha over the chai mixture in the saucepan and stir gently to combine.
  5. Serve in a mug, optionally sprinkle cinnamon on top and drizzle honey or maple syrup.
