Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Cook the egg noodles in salted boiling water according to package instructions for 6-8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes and season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a plate.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, add butter, and sauté chopped onions for 2-3 minutes until translucent.
  4. Add sliced portobello mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes, then add minced garlic for another minute.
  5. Sprinkle all-purpose flour over the mixture and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually add beef broth while stirring until thickened.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet, add cream cheese, sour cream, and mustard. Stir until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
  7. Fold in the cooked egg noodles and heat through for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Serve and garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired.
