  • 8 oz Brie Cheese Feel free to swap with Camembert.
  • 1 cup Cranberry Sauce Try using fig or apricot preserves for a unique flair.
  • 4 oz Pancetta Omit for a vegetarian version.
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Thyme Rosemary can also be used as an alternative.
  • 1 large Egg For egg wash to create a golden finish.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry until it’s about ¼ inch thick.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, add diced pancetta and cook for 3-5 minutes until it becomes crispy.
  4. Take your softened Brie cheese and cut it into slices, then scatter them evenly over the center of the puff pastry.
  5. Gently fold the edges of the puff pastry over the filling, pinching and pleating the dough for a rustic border.
  6. Using a pastry brush, apply the beaten egg over the folded edges of the pastry.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden.
  8. Let the tart cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet and garnish with fresh thyme sprigs before serving.
