  • 1 cup Shredded Provolone or Mozzarella Cheese Cheddar can also be used for a different taste.

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Season 1 pound of sirloin steak with salt and pepper, then sear in hot oil for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Remove the steak and set aside; add chopped onions and bell peppers to the pot and sauté for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in 3 cloves of minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in 4 cups of beef broth, 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, and 1 teaspoon of dried thyme; bring to a simmer.
  6. Return steak to the pot and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
  7. Reduce heat and add 8 ounces of cream cheese, stirring until melted; then add 1 cup of heavy cream.
  8. Incorporate 1 cup of shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese until melted.
  9. Ladle soup into bowls, garnishing with additional cheese and green onions.
  10. Serve hot with sides like crusty bread or a Caesar salad.
