Ingredients
  

Dressing
  • 0.25 cup sugar or 3 tbsp honey/maple syrup
  • 4 tsp apple cider vinegar or white vinegar
  • 0.25 tsp dry mustard or ½ tsp Dijon
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 1 cup real mayonnaise no Miracle Whip!
Coleslaw Mix
  • 2 10 oz bags finely shredded cabbage angel hair cut!
  • 0.25 cup finely chopped carrots

Method
 

Make the Dressing
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar, apple cider vinegar, dry mustard, and salt. Whisk vigorously until the sugar fully dissolves, about 1-2 minutes.
Add the Mayonnaise
  1. Once the dressing is ready, add the real mayonnaise and mix until completely smooth and creamy.
Combine with Vegetables
  1. Gently fold in the cabbage and carrots using a spatula until evenly distributed throughout the dressing.
Chill the Coleslaw
  1. Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, ideally overnight.
Serve and Enjoy
  1. Before serving, gently stir the coleslaw and drain any excess liquid if necessary. Enjoy with your favorite BBQ dishes.
