Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather your ingredients.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and sauté for 3–4 minutes or until pink and opaque. Transfer to a plate.
  3. In the same skillet, add lump crab meat and 1 cup of frozen mixed vegetables, stirring for 2–3 minutes until warmed through.
  4. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour over the mixture, stirring for 1 minute to form a roux.
  5. Gradually pour in 1 cup of seafood stock and 1/2 cup of heavy cream while stirring, then simmer for about 5 minutes until thick.
  6. Add 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, and 1 teaspoon of dried thyme, along with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Pour the seafood mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  8. In a bowl, combine Cheddar Bay biscuit mix with 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and 2/3 cup of milk. Stir until a sticky dough forms.
  9. Dollop the biscuit dough evenly over the seafood filling.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the biscuit topping is golden brown.
  11. Remove from oven and let cool for 15 minutes before serving.
