Cooking Instructions
  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted water over high heat until al dente, about 10–12 minutes. Drain, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add ground beef, seasoning with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned, about 5–7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Lower heat to medium, add remaining butter, and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add softened cream cheese to the skillet and stir until melted. Gradually whisk in milk until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  5. Incorporate grated Parmesan cheese and remaining Cajun seasoning into the sauce. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to thicken.
  6. Return ground beef to the skillet with the drained pasta. Toss gently until bowties are coated. Add reserved pasta water as needed for consistency.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan, parsley, or red pepper flakes.
